Gave my GALS a full clean out today and while I was bathing the snails I noticed one of them has spilt part of the new shell growing around the edge.
It's a very clean split and goes about 1cm around the bottom of the shell. It doesn't seem to be causing any problems and the snail is moving without any difficulty. Will this just come off eventually and grow back? Never had this problem before. Thanks in advance.

Cheers
Yeah it doesn't look too bad at all. And has access to cuttlefish that they all like to munch on quite a bit. Will keep an eye on it.
