Cold ????
orrrr maybe she hasn't had a real reason to run yet. I have NO IDEA how fast my OBT was as it always seemed really slow, til it was in bath tub. It did laps and was just an orange blur

He has probably picked it up from this on the site

"This is a high altitude living species from Sri Lanka. One of the rarer Poecilotheria species in captivity and the most beautiful! Care for the same as other Pokies but with cooler temperatures."

Yes I queried that with myself as the price doesn't seem to reflect the higher price of Highland. I thought it might be worth confirmation on this as the jury is out on whether this is a colour form or new species - ah the endless debate on P. bara
certainly worth persuing this if you intend to breed.
You must have raided your piggy bank or did TSS do a deal? Nice Ts

Sorry, I should add a reply to your question. I haven't noticed any difference in speed or temperament of the pokies I keep with only the followiing exceptions:
P. striata and P. subfusca seem more skittish.
P. ornata, P. miranda sometimes refuse to move away - I've often had them stay in the lid during feeding but never budge despite the disturbance. This is just my experience so it would be good to hear from others. It's reported that subfusca, and possibly other montane species, will show more aggression if kept too warm and you should be aware that the elevated heights of it's habitat isn't called Little England solely because of the architecture, they occassionally experience snow up there.
