Default orchid mantis 3rd instar

hi all

recently just got my orchid mantis. its a 3rd instar and soooooooooo tiny! we never used to get mantis so young in the shop i used to work at. in size it could fit in the circle of 5p pice.

i was wondering if anyone can help me in finding somthing suiteble housing for it, just items round the house till its a bit bigger.

all help apreciated!

Hi,

It'll be fine in a plastic pint cup or half pint cup with a bit of netting over the top and some damp kitchen towel in the bottom. Put a stick in there for it to hang from and it's ideal

A plastic drinking cup is big enough * pint pot*, put some kitchen roll in the bottom. She will do fine till she grows this big then you will need bigger....a few of my crew...

i'd love to get myself one of them, bit steep over here in dublin 50euro, birthday comin up...so if anyone wants to give me a gift.....lol
