There's not a lot of info on these guys. I bought 2 egg sacs and only 1 sac hatched and only 3 of those made it to adult (all blooming male!!!).
The nymphs can be very prone to RIs so you will need to keep the babies well ventilated and very clean. If I were you I would go for a grown on pair so you're past the vulnerable stages.
Other than that they are pretty much the same as sticks to keep. Their goofy lill heads are hillarious but beware they tend to stick them through the netting and get trapped, so I had to use very fine stuff.

I'm not sure but I think thats for egg laying. It won't need to cover the entire floor, I have my sticks in a large flexarium and I just use a cat litter tray with damp sand, but I think coir is what is used for horseheads. Sorry if I sound a bit vague but as said I didn't actually get a pair to adult and passed on the 3 boys to a lady who wanted them for breeding.
The cage you describe does sound a little small tho as the females grow really long and if you get nymphs it won't be tall enough for them to molt in the later stages.
I wish I could help you more cos they are really worth keeping but they can be tricky rear.
