Jungle nymphs, there big but not to big really and very pretty(the females that is) and satisfying to look at, (but weigh the most) males can fly
also the Macleays Spectre is another great stick insect (female looks like a scorpion) EDit: virginia cheesmans website is IMO the best for buying stick insect nymphs (although jungle nymphs tend to be the pricest of the stick insects, 8 pounds or so for 1 nymph) Last edited by Seansmegghead; 17-11-2009 at 09:55 PM.. |

I personally love Maclays spectre they are my favourite large sticks.
I have had a 90 percent hatch rate over 3 years and the eggs only take about 5 months to hatch. The females are parthenogenic too. What size stick do you want?

I have no idea what size I want but preferably something largeish that I can actually see lol
Its quite a bit flex so obviously Id like quite a few but not spend a fortune at the same time. Any fall into those catergories? ![]()

Very communal although males will fight over females, not to the death or anything mind.
If its one of the large flexariums they usually sell in pet shops you could get 8-10 maclays in there or the same number of giant spinys they tend not to move to far anyway, unless the food runs out.
