I made a mistake.... and bought FRUIT FLIES!!!!!!

They are everywhere they are in Marius's house and flying about all over the bloody place. I bought them for my spiderlings and then had trouble getting them from the tub they where in into the spiderlings lair. They all over am not happy they are getting in the vivs I have chucked them since but a few have escaped and now there every were........

How do I get rid?

if that was me i would take all my reps and spiders out and spray the house with fly spray or you can get a sticky strip there good... its up to you.... i fill so sorry for you i would hate that to happen to me good luck

Leave a piece of ripe fruit out and they should all go on to that!

In future put them in the fridge for a few minutes before using them!

Will try the fruit thing got to many reps to be taking them out of the room. Is there one type of fruit better than the other.

Cheers hun I have banana in as well. A wont buy the bloody things again thats for sure. I bought flightless fruit flies as well these things have evolved quickly.

open a bottle of wine, drink half for yourself and leave the rest for the flies. They fall into the wine and drown. Never fails

Next time put a straw in with a bit of banana in at the opposite end. Flys go in and get to the fruit and can just shake em out.

I had the same trouble with the fruit flys!!

Now i am using bean weevils instead!

Much better!!!
