Default Wound on newly moulted Vagans :(

My B.Vagans moulted either yesterday mornig or the eve before. I noticed she had done so last night and had a quick check on her. I was horrified to find she had a wound on her back
There was NOTHING in her house to have caught herself on and there were no cricks etc in there to nibble her. I dunno how this could have happend. It looks like she uas ripped of her skin
I coated it with a cornflour and watre mix which seems to have sealed it nicely and she is being kept warm with water close by.
I did notice an odd patch of skin before she moulted but i thought this was a patch from flicking me when i measured and photographed her last.
Just wondered if there is any iea how this could have happend.

Ouchey!!! I'm pretty sure she will heal up fine but i dunno if it would be worth putting her in an ICU just to make sure no dirt or anything gets into or on it. Maybe just for a couple of days to let it start healing then plonk her back in her enclosure. Any thoughts peeps?

She is currently sat on her web mat looking...no glowering at me lol
i am keeping an eye. If it gets dirt on it i will give it a litle wipe with the cornflour solution again. It isn't a wet sore tho. It has healed over with the cornflour and is dry as a bone now.

It doesn't work that way with tarantulas I'm afraid. Any damage done will not be repaired until the following moult.

My G.iherengi had this. It looked like a blister. Could it of caught itself on anything sharp like the sharp side of a halved flower pot maybe. My G.iherengi has moulted since and the wound has got smaller so in time it should disappear completely.
