How do i get onto the group membership bit? ( forgive me I've had few to drink!)

see where it says "user CP" at the top left of this page.
click on that to open your control panel, then group memberships is on the menu on the left side.

I think if you click "group memberships" in control panel, it will say 18+ is available for you to join. Click "join group" and a box will come up, in the message box you have to say you are over 18, and it might take a while because a mod has to give you access.
