scorch the emperor scorpion

hey,
i have an emperor scorpion the problem is he made a burrow under his little hide but then it came to cleaning time so now he just sits on the top of the substrate never in the hide hasnt made another burrow any ideas?

I used to start a little burrow myself each time I cleaned in a place I thought looked neat and against the glass so I could see them (like a cut away).

They burrow if they want to really but some of mine never even used the hide let alone burrow, probably scared of nothing and tough as old boots ... others you hardly see. I have 1 little guy now that just stays hidden and dug in as soon as his habitat is refreshed.

lol he's a little tough one hates my bf goes crazy if he goes near the tank lol
