I am researching spiders and think oone day I would like one, what sort of container is best to keep it in?Do they need a heat mat?I would love a docile and easy to care for spider and possibly a pink one, dont laugh, thanks jackie

really nice docile pink is the Eupalaestrus campestratus, lots of common names but pink zebra beauty is the more recent common name, can post pick of my adult female if you like
depends on wether you get a sling juvie or adult for housing but pretty easy to care for but they dont do a lot unless feeding but she is lovely

Brachypelma klaasi, quite hardy but tends to flick hairs.

I wouldn't recommend mesomelas or versi for a first spid.both are fairly hard to keep.Got to agree though versi is quite a pink spider.
