Default Salmon Pink Birdeater

My boyfriends spider hasn't eaten for two months. It never seems to move it just stays in one corner of the tank all the time. When my boyfriend left (he's working away) he said he thought it was moulting. That was two months ago though and still no change.

Its making a lot of webs, its bums going bald. I'm topping up its water every evening. It must be drinking as the water goes down quite a lot by the time I get up in the morning.

What could be wrong with it? It used to be quite active. Is it normal for it to be off its food this long, and to be so still. Its definitley not dead. Do I need to do anything for it?

Its not fully grown, I think its about 1 and a half years old.

If it has a bold bum and it's skin colour then it aint due for a moult, if the colour of the bold patch is dark then it's getting ready

It sounds like a moult to be honest.
I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as shes drinking.
A lot of terrestrial T's weave hairs off their abdomen into their moulting mat, so that would account for the baldness.
What are the temps/humidity like?
I know salmon pinks spend most of their time in the open, but does she have a hide?

Temps 25c, I spray the tank with water every day to keep the humidity. She does have a hide. She's not using it at the moment though. She's burrowed into a corner of the tank.

Looking at her abdomen where she'd lost the hairs, what colour is her skin? As Tim said, if it's dark she's definitely ready for a molt.

It's probably nothing to worry about, they can be in pre-molt for months. She'll be fine

The temps are fine and if your spraying everyday the humidity should be over 70%, so it looks like shes in pre moult.
Be patient it can take a while with larger spiders, iv had one in pre moult for over 3 months.
I'm sure she will be fine.
