Default Baby Leaf Insects Hatched!

I'm so very pleased! They are tiny and cute! Now just to get them feeding...

Congrats, to get them feeding put them in a humid environment I use a 10l storage container from pound stretcher with 20 X 2mm holes drilled round the top 1" of the container, bramble with its edges snipped as a food plant, as soon as they turn green all over like the adults and have molted once move them to a dry environment with a lite daily spray, this works for 95% of the nymphs I hatch and I have hundreds at the moment, the only ones I loose are the ones deformed at hatching mostly.

Cheers

John

I cut whole branches then wrap the ends in kitchen towel and soak it, cut the leaves on the edges in towards the middle, use a wet kitchen towel substrate and a humid environment and they should be fine.

This is pretty much what I was planning on doing

Do you trim the edge of the leaves off or just cut slits from the outside to inside? And do you use young or mature leaves/branches?

Thanks for your help
