Think you might have hard time finding a MM that can drive and enjoys a the occasional ciggarette. LOL
Nah just busting balls, try as many forums ascan as have noticed that mature males last year or so, particularly for Brachys and Aphonopelmas has been really thin. I have only just found someone that has a mature male Boemei which took ages to find. I'll let you know if I know of anybody, unfortunately many I know love their Asian species or African species. |

Only got a sub-adult male Smithi, and plus i can't drive anyway, tsk.
Got a few males coming up to adult, boemei, geniculata, x2 auratum, cancerides, klugi etc... Only got MM gold knee right now which i'm breeding, and a MM blondi which has been sat on the shelf for the past 4 months wasting away, no one seems to want them, even tried selling him at shows and no ones interested.

What is going on these days has the enthusiasm for breeding tarantulas started to slide downhill? Or is it case that people are showing less and less interest in american and south american species in favour of the next big spider to hit the hobby usually in African and Asian species?
Remember when people had interest in all species and breed what they could for the love of the hobby and maintaining it not treating it like a cash cow. |

I've been trying to get hold of males for ages now and have given up on a few species, like i sold my L. klugi female the other day because i gave up hope of a male, i'm still looking for a king baboon male though and i'm going to give red knees a go at breeding tommorow!

It seems that Brachys in general are hard to come by whether it be emilia, klassi, auratum, baumgarteni just dont seem to see many of the species even at the expos very little and mainly baboons, pokies, avics and asians in general.
