i'm breeding these this year, should have my mature male tomorrow so give few weeks to settle and then have a go. Brachy's are generally straight forward species, got to be easier than T pruriens the mature male was so small he physically couldnt lift the female and the female was a monster to start with after 2 weeks being kept with her and dozens of attempts he just wound up being a slap up meal.

I was under the impression these were hard to a achieve success with. I suggest you contact Stuart Longhorn who had success (possibly the first in UK) a couple of years ago.

I was under the impression that these were one of the easier brachys to breed as know of couple people in UK that have bred them. I thought Stuart was more into breeding asian and african species.

I think we all asume but unfortunaty a lot of our perceived breedings are actually gravid WC. As I suggest the best person totalk to is the person who had success with this species and is now a part of the BTS committee

Knowin my luck my female would munch him, she's so greedy, never refuses foods
The 1 saving grace is the fact the male is bigger than the female

Always able to chat to someone in the BTS. This site is quite a good read on Brachys, some successful some not but that goes with breeding anything.
