hi
i have a subadult paraphysa scrofa, ive had her less than a week but i dont know how old she is,how do i tell? how old is a spider when theyre considered an adult? thanks for any replies
Spiders growth is influenced by many different factors so it's really more a matter of "what size is considered an adult"... How big is this spider? Diagonal leg-span please.
DLS is measured from the tip of the 1st leg on one side to the tip of the 4th leg on the other side when the spider is in a relaxed position. Only British people measure them like that, and it's a needlessly complicated measurement that depends on what you consider to be relaxed... If you want I guess you could use body-length like everyone else, it'll be easier for you to get an accurate measurement.
