Default Bad molt with sling..

.... Hey guys,

I woke up this morning to find that my B.emilia sling had molted, badly! it's missing the Pedipalp & first two legs on the right side!

I know that a lot of Ts pull trough bad molts and after a few more will grow perfectly formed legs.. But as i take a closer look, it looks as if there is a bit of a stub left of the 2nd missing leg & it curls around along the carapace - it gives me the impression that its fused to the carapace!

Hopefully in the next couple of days as it hardens up it will come free.. sorry i couldn't get any photos - my camera not very good with close ups and the sling is only didi!!!

Has any one else experienced this, would be nice to know the out come!

Jax

I had a small sling that lost both pedipalps and one front leg and had both chelicerae stuck in the moult. With a bit of extra feeding effort it pulled through fine and you wouldn't know anything had happened to it now.
Just keep it a bit on the moist side and offer pre-killed prey to make feeding easier. If you get it to the next moult it'll regrow the legs which'll be slightly smaller than average and to full size within two moults.

Hope it recovers well for you!
