Default how long can .....

i bought a Brachypelma smithi yesterday ,which was getting posted straight away and would arrive today before noon
well it hasn't and guess won't untill tuesday now,
how long can it survive ?

mine took 2 days to arrive but were fine and lively.yours should be with you monday now but i`d get in touch with whoever you got it from to let them know.hopefully your t will be ok!!

nope wont come monday bank holiday. have they posted it to ya?
i suppose it depends how they pack it aswell

well thankfully it is summer so the weather is good and that wont be a problem if it was mid winter and there was really cold weather then there be concern but this time of year dont worry. I sent a spider too guy in Ireland and took few days as it was weekend and was just at the end of postie strike and it was fine

had no reply to emails sent to the owner ,
to comfirm its been sent,
so long as it will be ok ,that all that matters,
so should be ok for few days then ?

not being funny ,
but what kind of numbnuts sends any livestock through the post to arrive on saturday ?
let alone bank holiday weekend ?!!!!!
why didnt you tell them to wait til tuesday to post ?
thats what i did with some inverts i bought this week , even though the seller was gonna send out to arrive thursday i thought it better to wait & he agreed

i did mention that,but was assured if sent of straight away it would be hear sat before noon,
just hope its gonna be alive when it does turn up,

As long as it was packed well it should arrive ok. I received H.minax that had been in the post for 4 days recently. I agree the seller should have waited until Tuesday though.
