Default my new paucidens - thanks to elliot-ness

just received my flatrocks from elliot-ness, these things are teeny tiny - smaller than my emps when they were first born yet a whole month older than they are lol so cool though - i only asked for two, even haggled the price down and the top guy he is still shoved a freebie in - so i have 3

theyre gonna have to do some growing theyre a lot smaller than i had thought so they're gonna have to stop in crix tubs a while

Most mantids don't require extra heating as long as your room is around room temp.

i know theyre not communal - BUT - i read somewhere (note read so its probably not true) that you can house a male and a female in the same enclosure provided you give them enough space that they can live together so long as they have room to get away from each other. im suspecting that as the author had said that provided theres seperate hides then its only natural they are gonna try to eat each other lol - im supposed to be buying an adult off binksyboy too but paypal are messing me around and stolen my money so trying to sort that out atm - want a breeding pair -

when we say slooow growing - how slow- these little things are the size of my thumb nail haha

yeah so basically a breeding pair can be housed given enough hides - but it isnt really clear on aftercare - as in after hes done the deed and scuttered back to his own hide, what about the time she is preggers, and say he comes back out wanting a little more loving, or wanders into her hide
