Default Holy cow!...

...can I please have a bucket, a sheet of plywood, a whip and a chair to my bedroom, ASAP, please?

I knew house spiders can get big, but I think this one could chuck ME out of the window if it wanted to!

Thought I'd wandered into 18+ there for a moment...

They can get pretty big. We had a huge one on the door frame at work a little while ago, much to the secretaries horror
I swear it was that big you could see the door frame sagging under the weight!

Lol!

No photos, I'm afraid - I didn't have my camera handy, and if I had tried to take a picture I think it would have grabbed the camera from me, taken the memory card out and pocketed it. He/she had that look about him/her.

Big house spiders are scary as hell!!
I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't mind being near a T too much, but when it comes to a great big house spider it can just naff off!!

you wanna see them up close, they have a formidable set of gnashers on them for a little one, if he's that big and hanging around you wanna start charging rent

I found a big one in the living room the other night, it looked thin so I fed it a mealworm before letting it go outside

Or at least kenneling fees...

Am I right in thinking most of the ones you find wandering about in the house are males looking for luuurve? I did notice this one had an impressive pair of "boxing gloves".
