I have a spider (no pics yet, sorry, might get some tomorrow for ID purposes), that came in labelled "Black & Gold Bloodeater".
I've never heard of a bloodeater before, so is it possible this was mislabelled from "bird eater"? In which case, does anyone know what scientific names someone might call a "black & gold birdeater", It came in with various other birdeaters including a salmon pink birdeater, and something labelled a brazilian birdeater - I thought the salmon pink birdeater WAS the brazilian birdeater, or are there other common brazilian birdeaters? I also have something called a Brazilian Striped Red Rump... Not entirely sure if that's a valid common name either. I will get pics later or tomorrow as that will probably help ![]()
