Question would this work or not?

i just got thinking [never a good thing...] and you know how with reps you can 'tame them up' if you handle it from a baby

well if you had did the same with known agresive tarantulas, for example, a baboon or birdeater species and handled from a sling, could you get it 'tame' or not?

you cant tame all reps by handling.

There will always be ones that try to eat you no matter what you do. They are monsters. just mini ones.

No. You may be able to condition them to have trigger memory say you tap on the tank 3 times then drop a cricket in and the tarantula will associate the 2 things and catch the cricket. However the tarantula brain is very limited thus every day is a new one and what happened yesterday means very little today. Also unlike mammels and reptiles to some extent besides memory capacity they also have no emotions.

we've had our salmon pink from a sling and she's 3/4 grown now as we've had her 18months, and she would not be handled at all.She tolerates me changing her water and cleaning the glass inside her tank, but as for handling she runs away and panics, tho I won't push her to it cos of stressing her but I'm sure she would bite just out of panic.
On the other hand , my daughter has a salmon pink juvenile and she will be handled.
You just never know.
I have heard that peeps who handle goliaths etc cool them down 1st to make them cold and less active. Wether this is true I don't know.
My goliath used to growl at me lol.

That makes it a bit easier, my 3" pink foot goliath attacks the pouring water when I top it up!
I've not dared put my hands in there...

evil evillus... err...

Theraphosa apophysis

They have the largest legspan of T's but not the biggest bulk - that goes to the T.Blondi.
