Default Spiders in with crickets...

We got a big bag of crickets today and found about 3 of these verry pretty spiders in with them.
Theyre about 1cm in body length, and are quite stripey.
Anyone know what they are??

Sam

Yes, I asked livefoods about them, they are just a pest species, totally harmless.

I have a suspicion that they are nurse spiders, as they are not something you find up North as far as I am aware. Quite difficult as it could be a number of possible species - they suggested I feed mine to my pets, but I let them go!

I let mine run free in the cricket keeper, created a lot of web for such a small thing.

The impression I got was that they are not included on purpose, more of an accidental inclusion. If anything, they would possibly help keep the enclosures clean, but I reckon they are probably a pest feeding on young crickets.

I wouldnt worry about them however, I thought they were pretty cool as they don't live that far north.
