Nice pics. Are some of those rescues? The one on the left of the first pic has a really bad shell, like it's never had a chance to bask in heat/UVB.

Awww they are fab. We have baby Maps but they are really tiny at the moment, lol. Will you post up a bigger pic of your whole tank and sizes etc as it looks nice.

We have bigger stones than gravel in ours but are taking them out on Thursday as its cleaning day and they are very hard to clean. I fancy laying sand, whats that like to clean?

Thanks
Ashleigh

thier is ashleigh called map turtle pics a bit down the page from this well its a fluval 6 ft tank with 2 external fluval filters 4 fish that break down the turts poo and left over food and a sucker fish that eats the agie and on the shell i clean the filter every 2 weeks and go round the tank do a total water change every 3 months sand work well aswell but does go in filter the 4 high uv lights tube bulbs a heater in the water and a basking area which i made to fit with a laying area in it. the big turt is 8.5 inches shell and the other 2 female are 6ince the bigger male is 5 the smaller one is 4 i've had no problem with the tank or turts in it just wont to point out this is only used in the colder part of the year they go in a pond for the others

Water changes need to be done every two/three weeks.
Filters only need cleaning when you notice a loss in flow.
You could be destroying the bacteria cleaning the filters to often.

Do your turtles eat fish?

I tried large fish with my turtles but had to move them out.

Nice sized tank for your turtles.

great pics my only observation is that sand is usually not a good substrate for turts as they do scavenge off the bottom and just like reps can suffer from compaction
