Default The New Boy - MAP terrapin (pic heavy)

Here is my new boy(or girl) a MAP terp

Question is, what kinda map is Colin?

Sorry about the quality of the pics, rubbish camera

Any help would be fab






Sorry about pics. prob hard to tell anything from that but hubby is off to work with the good camera

Nice looking terrapin you have there...... For a positive ID for a map, we'd need pictures of the top and side of the head.....

I'd say false map - going on eye colour, general colouration and that these most commonly found in the pet trade.... but a clear head shot would clinch it.

Very sweet turtle, I have one of these too

No we don't.
The yellowish mouth or beak is a trademark of the False Map Turtle (Graptemys pseudogeographica pseudogeographica).

i cant see any eye bars maybe some better pics as fozz says if not just for us to ID for us all to over lol
