Job Title: Educational Presenter
District: Nationwide
Wage: Meets National Minimum Wage
Hours: 35 per week, Monday to Friday, between am and 5pm
Duration: Permanent
Details:
Enthusiastic & dynamic person required to present healthy eating & animal, handling workshops to children of all ages within the educational sector. Experience in nutrition as well as an interest in animals. Current clean driving licence & own transport essential due to nature of work, for which expenses are paid.

Additional Information:
You will be required to keep a selection of props/animals in your own home. Full training will be given for all workshops at the Company’s Head Office in Central Scotland. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. Employer will meet disclosure expenses.
Please remember that this position is for a presenter giving structured animal talks to Key stage 1,2 and 3; and you will also be teaching Food technology to key stage 2 and 3 so high levels of health and hygiene required.
People with a strong background of keeping/caring for reptiles, Mammals, and invertebrates would have a good advantage, as would anyone with a strong background in Food.

Dumfries
Belfast

WEST
Walsall
Stoke-on-Trent
Swindon
Kidderminster/ Worcestershire

EAST
Newcastle/ Gateshead/North Shields/ South Shields
Middlesbrough/Darlington

Nottingham
Peterborough
Cambridge

SOUTH EAST
Tunbridge Wells
Harlow
Dartford

Looks like a job i would be interested in.
I would be looking for more than minimum wage for this sort of work though especially if it involves keeping the animals at home.

It says 'meets minimum wage'...Thats not to say it is minimum wage. Wage will depent on experiance etc...for more info contact Carole.

Not sure if i missed anything but does it say what kind of animal?
Because i wouldnt particualy want a cow in my house lol

soudns brilliant although i could only do 2 days a week.

i live in cambridge

have reptiles/mammals/anphibians , and

have worked with children for the last 5 years (in a special needs school)

Couldn't have come at a better time! I have just been laid off and would love a job like that!

I just sent my CV and cover note.

I do something similar sometimes when I work at the wildlife park, they have a program called 'out reach' where they take bugs and reptiles to childrens parties or village fairs and then give talks on them. and cos they know thats what I love they send me along as well.

I would love to do something "different" with reptiles, likego on a conservation trip for 3 months to the galapago's islands!
