Reptile Cymru Birthday Competition

Just thought I'd post this here so any members of RFUK can enter if they wish....

We've been open for a year!

Reptile Cymru is offering a £50 voucher for our online store (Reptile Cymru Supplies, Visit our store in Cardiff or buy online) by registering for the store and subscribing to the newsletter by 31st March 2008. Winner will be drawn and announced on 1st April.

You can unsubscribe at any point. The competition is open to anyone across the UK regardless of whether you visit us in Cardiff or have shopped with us before.

Just like to say a big thank you to all the members of RFUK who i've met over the last year, there's quite a lot of you.. to those who have shopped with us, and those who haven't, but have offered us support and advice.

I did the php scripting (using the commerce software zencart) for the online shop and paid for some of the graphic images as I'm not a photographer

The shop one is just a few basic html pages I did in photoshop.

I'd recommend googling OSCommerce or similar, what software you use would be very highly dependant on what server host you have, what level of php and graphic design you have, what email server you're using, etc. etc.

You can pay hosts to setup the whole shops for you and run them, you just add the products if you aren't any good with PHP or you don't know much about server management. I do it all myself so couldn't really say what's best if you're not experienced with it.
