I was looking into new UV bulbs as I need one for my new set up. Someone sent me a link to a usefull site about which Uv bulbs do what etc and i noticed a report about compact lamps. I own one and decided to read it and what i read reminded me a little of an experience we had!

We stopped using one after noticing strange behaviour and changed it for a different bulb and now i may know why..

I just thought I would post this up incase anyone using a compact has found similar problems and unsure why, not saying this is right but it's an interested read and informative

i read that a few weeks ago and chatted to someone on here about it..

they said the arcadia d3 seems fine though... this is what we currently use

we were going to buy the exo terra bulbs but i think i will hang fire for now till i see more evidence
