Hi all
This weekend (short notice I know, just found out myself) there is a "small pet show" at the Rushden & Diamonds FC in Irthlingborough.
Basically it has been organised by NANNA (Northamptonshire Animal Need Nurturing and Adoption) and the FC and will be held on sunday (April 27th) at the Diamonds' Sports Center. There are six classes and 2 shows (one for under and one for over 16's).
The classes are:
- Class A (mice, hamsters, gerbils, degu, chipmunks, misc...)
- Class B (rats, cavy, chinchillas, ferrets, misc...)
- Class C (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, bantams, misc...)
- Class D (Parrots, budgies, soft bills, birds/prey, pidgeons/doves, misc...)
- Class E (fish, turtles, lizards, newts, misc...)
- Class F (lizards, snakes, tortoises, snails, spiders, misc...)
It's £1 to enter each class and all proceeds go to NANNA.
There will be a best in class and best in show with rosettes, certificates, and prizes etc.
Final thing - Flat shoes and soles only due to the flooring in the sports hall
