I would be contacting official government export and import then im not sure anyone on the forum will give you the exact laws pertaining to this,..

They may be able to tell you if it seems legal or ilegal but not the actual written down numbers/ laws made... if i were you id probably do a bit more viable black and white research...


hope you find out and you dont end up importing ilegally.. wouldnt go down very well..

i already gained a lot of useful information. A few more calls will be made to see ecatly whats happening hopefully its all legal but by the looks of it, if it is it wont be coming direct from india if at all. Need ot et alot more details me think, but as im only being brought in on the side i dont really know everything thats going on.

i think if it were me id be ducking out... what the people in india may tel you , you may find not to be true...

they might sound official and it all LOOKs grand, then you get left with the unlawful charges at this end..

as someone pointed out previously, no wildlife can be exported out of india and thats it .. whatever evr comes out is legal transfers between zoo's etcc

also legally one is not allowed to keep any wild animals as pets in india either

Apparently after further discussion there is a loop hole in indian law. Pet can be kept so long as they are cb/cf with the correct paper work. The same loop whole is in the export as well, to which the guy in india has been using for a while apparently. With the correct paper work and government approved documents you can legall export CB and CF reptiles.

Im still waiting on conformation about this, but so far it seem to be true.

Just thought i would pass on my findings so far.

if so then its just like the eps laws in regards to european species? well not the same but similar importance on cb and proof there of with exports of wildlife being a big deal.
which would make perfect sense.
