I specialise in corn snakes, and can't imagine ever having another species as my "main" snake - but I do also keep a variety of other snakes and things. I love my other snakes but I don't have the passion for them that I do for the corns. I don't think I could breed a species where I didn't have a real enthusiasm for not just producing babies, but moving the species forward and breeding to improve. You can't really do that if you've only got a pair of a species, and aren't ever intent on getting any more or moving forward down the generations.

Ive always been interested in lizards and have a bit of a soft spot for chams and monitors, but after doing loads of research ive decided on geckos (not leos). I still love chams, but Recently aquired a trio of Pictus and a pair of Velvets. After Gargoyles next!!! (PM me if you have any BTW!)

Cant wait for Hamm!!!

I very much specialise in corns. I personally only have corns, one hogg island boa, and a pair of frilled dragons. The hogg and the frilled I have because I love their looks.... the corns mean I have no space for anything else based on likes/dislikes!

My OH only has boas (and lots of them).

Perhaps it would be fair to say that you are a breeder but not a specialist as such? That's not a criticism, just pointing out that you have a variety of herps and other animals.

Actually, looking at the list again with the beardies and Uromastyx, maybe you're an agamid specialist?
