Went in the little pet shop in Coventry this weekend. They had 1 foot vivs - extremely overheated (ambient of 90+) so no where to escape the heat.

one of the vivs had a royal / boa and a garter
the other had a beardy and a hermans tortoise!! The tort was just sat in the water.....

so sad

suppose my question is, should I do something??

Was it the one in Far Gosford St?

talk to the shop, voice your concerns, if it falls on deaf ears they are liceneced through the local council so phone tham and have a chat.


Naming and shaming, while it seems a great idea, actually can result in legal proceedings,(directed both at the forum and the author of the thread) it is far better to try and resolve this directly,

A motoring forum that I belonged to until recently, was closed down a couple of months ago due to someone posting negative comments about a business, the forum owners and the motoring club of which they are directors are now facing legal action, which could potentially bankrupt the club according to their solicitors.
