Default Trying something new!

We are looking into getting a young person to help us care for our reptiles. We want it to work as a sort of apprenticeship type thing and have rewards for the individual aswell as them learning and hopefully doing something they like.

What we are after is a young person who has a love for reptiles (especially leopard geckos) and would like to be involved in a reasonably big sized breeding regime. Maybe someone who likes reptiles but isnt allowed them, or someone who wants to breed their reptiles but isnt allowed to. It will give a taster of what it is like. It will involve all duties such as cleaning, feeding, handling, egg checking, keeping records etc.
The person can choose when they have the spare time to come and help out, and would never be tied down. 1 hour a week to 10 hours a week.... you choose.
They would have to be able to get to Worthing, West Sussex by their own means, so a local lad/lass would be good!

Obviously there would be rewards for this and the knowledge gained would also be very handy indeed.

If anyone is intrested please PM me for more details!

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOTE A JOB ADVERTISMENT AND IS PURELY TRYING SOMETHING DIFFERENT!!!

What a great opportunity you are offering to the lucky person who helps you out. Can't offer anytime myself too far away, kids work etc but I think it's a fantastic offer

I'd probably be up for this if it's to do with Leos. I've got a normal female and what I believe to be a Giant High Yellow male and am trying to breed them. I drive so getting there shouldn't be too much of an issue although fuel costs will stop me coming down on a daily basis. Could probably give a day a week at current until I go into full-time employment at which point I may only have a limited amount of time.

Its a great idea.

My sister Donna is a TA in a local school, and we are always getting kids round

SOme just look, some whip out, but a few really take an interest and gives them a different outlook.

Good luck, I may even apply !! lol
