I moved house a few months ago and my nice glass Exo-Terra suffered a bit of mishap (backflipped out of a van onto tarmac).
The back pane of glass smashed but the others stayed intact. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice or success in mending them or if I should just recycle it and buy a new one. ![]() |

you can easily repair it, just make sure you get out all the bits of glass that sat in the recess. get a piece of glass (cut it if you have to) and put it in the recesses and apply silicone on all sides to ensure it stays in place, pretty easy job to do ... just like repairing a box.
good luck, give us before and after pics.

I might get a bit of glass and some silicone on Friday and give it a bash. I know someone who can get me cheapish glass. What size would you recommend; 4mm? I might check out the Exo-Terra website to see if they have any information on the glass. Thanks. |

4mm sounds ok, but if u cant then 6 is ok. you should be able to do it, just like glueing a jigsaw puzzle together, not that i have done that to many but you get my drift, if i were closer i would have done it for you..
