Default raising room temp?

right, here goes. ive recently started colecting inverts and my room at the min is about 24 where as most of what im keeping likes it around 27. so rather than continuously buying heat mats and that to heat them all what can i do to raise the temps in my room and keep them raised so that i can just keep things anywhere without worrying about the temps too much. could i not just place a ceramic on a stat set high in my room and keep it on. would that work?

I don't think it would be enough for the whole room.

I use a stand-alone radiator in my Snake Room over winter.

Grab a stand alone heater/cooler from somewhere like Argos like Freekygeeky did.
