I have a TUG snow from Ace reptiles which looks healthy & was well packaged for transit.
When I asked about the age of the leopard gecko I was told 3 months old. I don't think it's 3 months old more like half that. It also says on the site; * All animals produced by us will come with a complete feeding and shedding schedule, along with a full lineage report and caresheet. Well mine didn't & I checked the box & packaging twice to makesure, but then I read the page on their site again & I remember when enquiring about the gecko that the guy said they weren't produced by them, but somebody else. I also found this statement on ther site; *We aim to sex the animals we sell to the best of our knowledge, however we cannot guarantee this 100%. here's a link; For sale If you scroll down when you click the link to the site, you can read all the statements down the middle of the page. |

I never got a feeding record for one of the two royals I bought from them, nor a lineage report (one of the royals was a morph) Or a caresheet. And obviously they don't know how to correctly sex a baby royal. I left it too late (more than 48 hours) to contact them about my royal being the wrong sex, so they didn't do anything about it |

Iv brought a number of things from Chris and Christine, and on all occasions have found them very friendly, helpful and above all the reps have been in tip top condition, so i can only praise them from my experience.

I was not going to reply to this, but it seems that I need to clear a few things up as there are a few problem with you understanding the Terms & Conditions that are clearly listed on our site.
Firstly, we only give lineage reports for animals that we produce ourselves. As neither of the royals you received was bred by us, they didn't come with lineage reports. The baby normal royal you received did come with a full feeding record because we purchased it straight out of the egg from a friend of ours. We did not have the Yellow belly from hatching, so could not provide a full record. "And obviously they don't know how to correctly sex a baby royal. I left it too late (more than 48 hours) to contact them about my royal being the wrong sex, so they didn't do anything about it" As for the sexing of the normal royal, it is possible to make a mistake every now and then with regards to probing. I have probed many snakes, and did actually probe this one twice (with the same result both times - 2 scales in) to make sure. As previously stated in emails to you, baby royals can be difficult to probe as they clench their muscles. I also dislike using the popping method as I find this to be even more unreliable. It does state clearly on the site that the sex is not 100% guaranteed. The reason we cannot exchange snakes is because not only was the 48 hour period expired, but you waited 2 months to tell us about it. There are many reasons why we cannot make this exchange and I can list them if you'd like...?

I just want to clarify that my post was not a complaint, I was just explaining that I was expecting a lineage report, etc & when I couldn't find one I checked the site first & that's where I found the statement;
* All animals produced by us will come with a complete feeding and shedding schedule, along with a full lineage report and caresheet. So realized then that I wouldn't have received one as, like I said in my original post, "the guy said they weren't produced by them, but somebody else". This is why I quoted the other statement; *We aim to sex the animals we sell to the best of our knowledge, however we cannot guarantee this 100%. As maybe 'ladybird' didn't notice it on the site ? #1. "I have a TUG snow from Ace reptiles which looks healthy & was well packaged for transit." -TRUE- #2. "When I asked about the age of the leopard gecko I was told 3 months old. I don't think it's 3 months old more like half that." I still think that the gecko is less than 3 months old compared to my others in size. I was not 'attacking' acereptiles, just stating what I thought was a fact. I have no problems with the service provided to me or the gecko I received. I would just like to say thanks to Acereptiles, this is the first time purchasing from you. |

I went over at the weekend and cannot priase them enough. the shop was spotless they held 2 snakes for me over the phone and I was pleased with both(better than the pics which they took the time to send me on request). I recieved a full shedding and feeding report for 1 snake and the other was not bred by them but was clearly feeding very well. I recommend people to go and see them, they are both helpful and know there stuff. thanks Guy will be back many times in the future just need a bigger house for more reps.
