What would you include in a first aid kit for reptiles? Would you bother setting one up just in case something does go wrong, or will you just try and get hold of what you need when something does go wrong (and how easily would you be able to get hold of the essential things should you need them e.g. how close is the nearest reptile vet/shop that supplies those things)?

tamodine, cottons balls an buds, a tray to dilute it in if neccessary and tweezers. I also have some of that pre sticky bandage stuff cuz its easy to use without too much hassle and its not too sticky to hurt the skin. I have used germolene with don, would probably be highly useful in case of a burn or something.

Very cool! I see you have a spare thermometer as well? That's a good idea too! Have to add one of those to my list.
Setting up my own first aid supplies because of the distance to the nearest rep shop/vets. Better to have things there ready just in case than run around like a headless chicken trying to find whatever treatment I need! There is a vet supplies shop here...went to them to see if they had Avi-Pro or CCF or Tamodine/betadine and they didn't have any! In fact most of the stuff they have are dog treats and special foods etc ![]()
