Does anyone keep house plants in their rep rooms. Is there a grater risk of mites from certain plants?

Never heard of mites coming from house plants so these should be ok, care should be taking in the cases of herbivorous reptiles that they are not given access to certain house plants which they may well eat as many house plants are Toxic.
