I always prefer quality of quantity not into squeezing as many lizards into a lunch box as possible i know its not great for business but well displayed animals in attractive set ups just do it for me.
Someone with a genuine enthusiam for the animals but also fellow hobbyists, its great loving animals but if you cant sell to others or arent a people person it can make shop visits very awkward. I want to be welcomed into the shop, not made to feel awkward. You want my money, i can simply go other places and it takes nothing to say hello. As well as the basic starter animals something a little bit interesting, something not seen very often. Doesnt need to be some ridiculous morph work a small african country just uncommon species. Of course theres prices and animal welfare but they're a given in my opinion. OH and correct labels, cant stand when a viv says leopard gecko and its clearly a tortoise, thats just laziness. Both common and scientific name please. |

I like a reptile shop where the staff are friendly, like to chat about reps and give good advice. You go into some and the staff just ignore you.
Also, shops where the reptiles are well displayed and appropriately housed, with clear labelling as to the species, adult size and basic care requirements make me want to go back.
