i got conned out of £150 on ebay last month!!! spent ages aranging all of the proof, about £2 to post it and then they send me an email saying sorry, you paid by postal order we cant help

that gets on ur tits... ebay can be really dodgy

thaught about it to be honest but in this day and age he'd grass me up and id probably end up having to pay him a few grand for harrasment or some crap? not much i can do really?

I was told today about someone who paid out £1,970 via Western Union to a guy in Canada and lost every penny.

Amazing how much is conned out of people every day, it really is.

Ive never used it and if Im being honest I havnt a clue what western union is but as soon as I see the word I automatically think scam.

Yeah, so do a lot of people. It's actually easy and safe to use though if you apply some common sense.

I use it once or twice a week to send money all over the place. The trick is to either know who you are sending money to or get the goods first.
Common sense really!
