Default How far do you travel to get to a decent shop?

Guys I'm wondering how far do you travel to get to a decent reptile shop?

Do you have a good one just around the corner, or do you frequently move outside your local district in order to obtain your supplies?

I use someones trade account to buy kit, but I still like to visit rep shops see whats about, I will travel about 100 miles or so if its a good shop. If I visit anywhere I will check if there are shops nearby a drop in if there is.

Our shops really good, some animals are dear, but thats a shop thing, Ours is about 5-10mins away door to door, but we are willing to go anywhere in the uk for the right animal, went 250-300mile round trip for our CB royals, and 150-170 round trip for our corns, unless we go to nige(cornmorphs) with is about 5-6miles

I live literally across the road from a good shop and am also friends with the owner so Im very lucky in that respect! (Shropshire exotics) However I would travel a good distance to get to somewhere decent if I were less lucky. From my parents house the closest dedicated rep shop is viper and vine which is probably 50 minutes from them.

i went down to UKpythons to get my Diamond-x-Jungle which was a 6 hour round trip, cost more in petrol than having her delivered would have been but it was too cold and it was good to see all his snakes, got to see Maki's new DxJ in person and it was absolutely stunning, i only hope mine turn out half as good? she was worth it though and i get the food from a shop in town, we dont seem to have many rep shops in Lincolnshire that i know of?

I buy all my stuff online as the shops near me rip you off way too far.

I buy most of my stuff online as I have no decent stores close by. Although I would travel for something that I really wanted!
