Well waxies are treats...pachnoda grubs maybe? Bet they taste good to a lizard.

Also I suppose mice and hamsters etc are usually more active then lizards, might seem boring to you just to sit on a rock or log all day, stretch your legs for a few minutes then go back to the rock but it's a lizards routine really, jumping through hoops and using wheels aint their thing.

Although saying that I think beardies like being taken out of their vivs when their used to it.

I think your applying a human mind to your animals lol. I mean my GBB, she always seems to just sit in her viv already, maybe sometimes webbing a bit, climbing on the side of the glass a bit, but really she doesn't do much, she must be sooo bored. Maybe I should give her access to the world wide web eh?

You need to think of life style of the animal. Rabbits etc are endotherms and move to create heat and keep warm. Reptiles are ectotherms and have to absorb heat to get energy. If your a reptile you dont want to run around all the time because you dont know if heat will always be available.

mine are fine.. they were bored but i put a small TV in each of their tubs to keep them occupied. Surprisingly though they prefer the sports channels than Nat Geo or anything like that.

Did anyone see that life in cold blood programme?
They set up a camera to record a snake (wanna say a python sp. but cant really remember) sitting on a rock, it sat there in the same position for days hardly moving at all while all the other wildlife came and went around it. They sped the film up to show just how long it was there for, it was crazy!
