Default How do I catch loose crix?

I had my first cricket escape today. They anole shed and I forgot you aren't suopposed to feed them a day or so after it, so I proceded to take the cricket out (I feed him 1 by one so I can't over feed) with forceps and it ate its leg off before hopping behind the chest of drawers. I loked everywhere but I cant find it. Can black crix breed in the house?!

Any tips of how to catch it? I was thinking it would die off but then I read they can go for MONTHS without food!

What sould I do? I know cricket escapes are enevitable but I am now vowing never to use them again, as I have plenty of flies all year round anyway.

Thanks!

I really don't think youll get an infestation. I've had many escape, I catch some and stomp on them but some are never seen again, probably either dead or left the house.

You can buy cricket catches, you just stick them somehwere, the crix crawl in and get stuck and die

They arent 100% but should help get a few

mate the amount of crickets that I have escape is stupid I dont know how they get out, some I catch and feed to stuff if I see them hopping across the floor at night others I just leave because they are too hard to catch

funnily enough, I did try plonking my cat behind the drawers, but he couldn't see it.

So the black ones only live a couple of days then. How long will the brown ones live out of intrest?
