I just had a rep from the RSPCA knock on my door doing fund raising. Poor guy got quite a shock when I laid into him and guess what? He hadn't even heard about what the RSPCA are trying to do . Great isn't it if people who work for them and go into the community don't even know what's going off! To be fair when I told him what was happening he didn't agree with it - perhaps the RSPCA should do a poll of their staff to see if they actually agree rather than the idiots at boardroom tables making all the decisions


Wrote my letter, posted and emailed to my local MP.

reference:keeping of reptiles as pets
Thank you for your recent e-mail communication in connection with your concern about campaigns to discourage the keeping of reptiles as pets. I am grateful to you for writing and bringing your concerns to my attention.
I believe that the best course of action that i can take to be of assistance is to write directly to michael tomlinson, Chairman at the royal society for the prevention of cruilty to animals, And Ben Bradshaw MP, Parlimentary Under-Secretary of stateat the department for enviromental food and rural affairs, To seek their comments and clarification on the points which you have raised.
I shall of course, Be back in touch immediatly i have a response to the representation i am now making on your behalf.
