Default Ameyzoo - Highly recommended

For anyone that has not already been there you NEED to get over to Ameyzoo in Bovingdon (near watford). I went over there for the first time today and was totally awed.

Mark and Siouxsie really know they're stuff, well they should seeing as one is a qualified zoologist and the other a herpatologist. They really care about the animals in their shop instead of just wanting to make a quick quid.

They have a great range of snakes, not just your normal corns and milks either, plus a few DWA (Green mamba, diamond back, chinese spitting cobra and one I can't remember). I wasn't really interested in the lizards but they seemed to have a great range of those too.

Mark even let me help him move the 14ft retic recently used in the Life in Coldblood tv series. It's the biggest snake I've ever handled and was a stunning example.

So seriously get your butt down there

Oh and Dave/Siouxsie if you read this I expect some commission nex time I'm in

Yeah they're ok. Bit pricey on some items but generally not too bad. Mark can't pronounce the scientific names of some of his stock which is always a good giggle.
