rant time!

We've been having our kitchen and bathroom done and by the time their finished the garage roof too.
And is always the case all our electrics needed re-doing which costs us extra and means it has to be turned off now and then. Fair enough.
(the builder is a friend of my dad's who ive known since i was 15 and he got a friend to help and knows the electrician too).

The electrician came for the last time today and i knew the electrics were going to be off for half the day ( a few hours not literally half the day).
So i think yeh my reptiles will be fine as it's warm and light and theres nothing i can do as it has to be done to prevent fires.

SO i get home from work after they'e all finished god knows how many hours ago and what do i find!
Th b****** DID'NT BLOODY PLUG THE LIGHTS BACK IN!

All my reps (apart from blossom and Cornflake who are in my room) have been in darkness today as he was doing electrics in my reptile room!


The plug and timer was just thrown on the floor! I am SOOOO angry right now i cant tell you!

Not to mention i walk around the house with no shoes on, and he left a frickin sharp nail and a screw on the floor in my reptile room right where i walk in the doorway!!

Im absolutely LIVID!


i guess they'll get over it and tomorrow will be back to normal. i just hate feeling pi**ed off like this!

edit: i must scan the entire floor to make sure there's no more screws and stuff cause i know if i let something out of it's viv it will try and eat one!

Ah....on re-reading your OP it was lights. As long as the heat was there they'll be ok. Still not good though.

heat=light, my lizards are not on heat mats.
it's warm enough outside, i was'nt worried about that, i was worried about the fact they'd been in the dark all day!

and the fact he left blimmin nails on the floor that could be in my foot now if i had'nt noticed! grrrr!

blimmin electician! and ive found out since he was phoned and reminded to do it!!
