Default Flies

My livingroom is full of flies, but I can't use fly spray as I have snakes and lizards in my livingroom. Have you got any ideas how to get rid of them. I know I can get a zapper, but I won't be able to get one till next week. Any ideas till then?

chameleons!

Are we talking bluebottles or fruitfly?

If it's fruitfly then they're not attracted to uv light like the larger flies are so an electronic fly killer won't work (I know this as I'm a pest controller). Fly spray is the best option but as you say you can't because of the animals.

All I can suggest for fruitfly infestation is flypaper with a bit of orange juice soaked on to attract them to it. Otherwise squash them all on site. It's a long process but that's what I do when I get them here. Livefoods seem to be infested with fruitfly from my local shop so I ended up with a lot!
