Default Russian translator needed for a gecko article!

Hi all,

as the new Editor of the Global Gecko Association (Global Gecko Association ) I would need to find a Russian native speaker or a Russian translator with some experience on reptile articles to translate the manuscript of one of our authors, Yuri Kaverkin. This articles covers the leaf-tail geckos (Uroplatus).

We are a non-profit organization and unfortunately we cannot afford to pay a professional translator for it. If anyone could help, that would be great!

Please contact me through my e-mail: hsaintdizier@hotmail.com

would it be worth using this Yahoo! UK & Ireland Babel Fish - Online Translator | Free Translation and then editing using common sense and experience as things will get lost in translation.

aye I used to do this for languages coursework!

For English to another language it's easier actually. Since if I do a few sentences in English and translate to say French, you copy the French back to English and some of it will be nonsense. So then you keep using alternative English words for the same thing until when you translate it to French and back to English, it stays the same, so nothing is being lost in translation.

Thanks, but we are really looking for a precise translation, automatic Internet translators do not give the quality in translation we need for our publishings.

We really need SOMEONE with the required skills to work on this, not a machine. Thanks for trying to help anyway
