There was one called Godiva's Pets and Reptiles on Far Gosford Street but this was a few years back. Not sure if they are stil there? I've found some details (two different addresses) - give them a ring and find out!

One address: 123, Momus Boulevard
Stoke
Coventry
West Midlands
CV2 5NB
Tel: 024 7622 4521
Send Email

Another:

Godiva Pet and Reptile Centre, 38/39 Far Gosford Street, Coventry
Tel: 024 7622 4521

I wonder if this is their old address? Good luck!

still exists but in Binley not city centre

And their capabilities leave a lot to be desired. Last time I was in there he had the lid off a big tub on the floor and was poking a scorion with a stick, claiming a shipment of death stalkers had been found by the post office and handed to them, this being the only live one in the packet. Not funny on a busy saturday afternoon with kids running around, cats LOOSE in the shop, and no DWA license.

There is another place just outside of Coventry called Blooms, its in Balsall Common. They keep reptiles too, but for advice I'd stick to the forum as Blooms staff are not (in my humble opinion) experienced keepers

If you haver transport get yourself to Shirley Aquatics (about 2 mins from the Shirley Junction of the M42), or Birmingham Reptiles and Pets (about 2 mins from spaghetti Junction), both about 20 mins outside of Coventry, both decent shops where the advice is as good as the stock

Coventry Pet Shop Licenses need to declare whether they intend to stock venemous/DWA animals as per coucil application forms. I have a pal who called environmental health a few years ago as a result and the conclusion was that they weren't covered for the DWA animals by their license

i personally haven't had no problems with godiva really...better than most shops ive seen tbh and things are good prices rather than the high prices elsewhere(i know theyre shops but christ 80 for leopard geckos..have to laugh)...when it used to be in far gosford street when i last went in there it was great and not one were the know it alls i see elsewhere
