Just a quick word regarding reptiles for sale, ReptileClassifieds.co.uk These guys are utter muppets who run this site and are giving fellow herpers bad names in the UK. If anyone feels like boycotting the joint because I now am then feel free to make a post up and have a rant and rave at Scott the Web hoster.

Sorry but this has annoyed me they have insulted a good friend of mine and crossed the line.

fair enough you have a problem with scott why dont you just email him instead of clogging up the ads just cos you dont like it dosent mean the rest of us are the same

I don't know the full story, but from what I can see, Grayson is packing in all his reptiles because of this.

From what I've seen on the classifieds there were the same ads repeated every day or even every few hours simply to bump up to the new page, which is frowned upon and against the rules of the classifieds.

I can see where Scott is coming from, as they are infringing upon the rules, but something then must of happened in order for Grayson to pack it all in. Can you elaborate at all Snake_Charmer?

Grayson has been emailed on several occasions and asked very politely NOT to spam the classifieds.

He has had several adverts deleted and was warned that his IP address my be banned.

He continued to spam the classifieds but even then I have not barred his IP, instead asking him not to Spam.

I also emailed Grayson to warn him that it looked like other people were posting HIS adverts in order to try and get him barred. I spent MY FREE time checking IP's etc to ensure that I only deleted genuine spammed adverts not just people trying to cause trouble.

Whatever Grayson's problem is, it's from NOTHING I have siad or done. Just because he is unable to sell something doesn't mean he should throw a tantrum and spam the classifieds.

So that doesnt mean you can give him abuse down the phone when spoken to him all he was trying to do was sell his granite Burms and you kept on removing posts let alone changing them. Insulting him by changing adverts saying I am a spammer etc. All because you have a problem with him. Instead of sorting out all the crap with scammers you would rather remove and change posts from UK keepers.
By saying that you would buy them from him just to get him off the classifieds. Fair enough he's getting rid of all his herps now because hes had enough of petty behavour on the classifieds section of your site and he is right what he says the so called hobby is deteriating left right and centre because of people who want burmese pythons or retics to say look at me Im Macho because I have a 18ft snake. Also Scott Gray was right you are an idiot talking to people like they are under you well one thing Gray nor myself take from the way YOU talk to people. Your idea of politeness is totally different from ours.

I have NEVER spoken to Grayson other than by email.

I have ONLY editted adverts with the SPAMMER photo in the hope that he would get the message as obviously my polite emails did not work.

I DO NOT have a problem with Grayson, I neither know him and have NEVER dealt with him. I have no idea what he does or sells. My ONLY concerns are the spamming of the classifieds, which I sent him emails about.

If Grayson IS selling ALL his animals because he "didn't like to be known as a spammer" then I'm sorry, I never realised he would be so sensitive and it's just a shame that he couldn't just follow the simple rules instead.

Again, just to confirm I HAVE NEVER SPOKEN TO GRAYSON, in fact I'm pretty sure you would be hard pushed to find anyone I have spoken badly too (except the people who work for me )

I would be happy to post up ALL emails, sent and recieved connected to Grayson. People can then see what we each consider is polite.

So what your saying is that your calling A good friend of mine a Liar? Yes. Well To be perfectly honest with you I think your the one whos got a problem not him. Oh and for the fact that having a site admin saying they will send me things through my email well let them I have left my email address on your forums.

Could this be a simple misunderstanding and snake_charmer's friend thought that it was the site admin speaking when in fact it was just someone else who'd seen the ads who was talking on the phone?

Makes no sense for the site admin to deny speaking to someone on the phone full stop.. just as it makes no sense for snake_charmer's friend to lie about it...

I'm sure this could be cleared up amicably and privately?
