Default Substrates?????

Right just peoples opinions on substrates i have totally run out of beech chips i get the 15kg sacks but cant find them good priced anywhere but maidstone (they charge £15 for 15kg) my local shop charges £25 for the exact same stuff and size bag.

Ok so my question is is repti bark safe for bearded dragons and corn snakes???? i need to do a change on the beardies asap but need substrate first.

or what other stuff is safe for both as i dont wanna buy 2 different things its just easier and cheaper to use the same stuff for both .

Don't know much about either of those species, but for cleanliness, cost, and ease of use it's newspaper all the way for me

I thought £25 was a good price! I've seen places charging £35-40!
